Hi. I’m Tom Wachunas, Director of Fitness at the Albany JCC and I hope you can support my personal goal of raising $500 in support of the JCC’s annual appeal. I have worked at the Albany JCC since the fall of 2007 and am humbled to work for an organization that does so much for the people in our community. I am impressed every day by all that we do. I see everyday how lives are changed; from members who no longer need medications to life changing fitness stories. But what is really amazing is how staff and members volunteer their time and efforts to make the community a better place. From infants to seniors, our programs reach out to over five thousand members per year. I am lucky to be able to work with people who are so positive and caring. I am constantly asked by friends and family what is the difference between a fitness center and a community center? After six years at the Albany JCC, I can say with certainty it’s the people, the relationships, and commitment to each other and our neighbors. Please help me help the JCC and all that we do in the community. Thank You.
